This is my "bid for fame" with a graphical interpretation of the symbol for the new element, in the style of the RSC's Visual Periodic Table designs.

Since roentgenium belongs in the same group as gold whose alchemical symbol is the sun, for Rg we have an x-ray (telescope) image of the sun, with, superposed, an energy level diagram for x-ray emission from the elements, and of course an "x-ray" - an early photogaph of a hand.
