New XI Polymer Module  

A new and extensive data module has been addded to the XI "Characterised Materials" Library to strengthen coverage of "reference" polymer spectra.

In the first collaboration of its kind, XPS International has incorporated well authenticated spectra from the the University of Washington polymer archive into a new module which is now being incorporated into the DataBase.

Spectra included

•   In addition to the survey (wide scan), C 1s, and appropriate heteroatom region spectra, most files also contain detailed valence band records, which prove invaluable in distinguishing closely similar or isomeric materials.
